José Raúl González, CEO of Progreso, highlighted: “We are excited to continue growing with purpose, expanding into new markets, and welcoming professional talent into our family. This step motivates us to keep building together the country we all want to live in”.

The closing of this transaction and the integration of operations remain subject to standard regulatory approvals.

In the meantime, Cementos Progreso will continue working closely with its strategic partners, clients, and communities to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

The transaction was supported by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., reaffirming confidence in Cementos Progreso’s potential to remain a regional industry leader.

Now, the company is set to bring its expertise, leadership, and commitment to the Dominican Republic and Haiti, creating economic, social, and environmental value in the Caribbean.
