Progreso, a leading company in the cement industry, materials, and construction solutions, announces the inauguration of its latest state-of-the-art facility: the new Precast Plant, located within the San Miguel Cement Plant, in Sanarate, El Progreso, Guatemala. With an investment of US$15.8 million, this project emerges as part of Progreso’s growth and diversification strategy, marking a new chapter in its 125-year legacy in the country.

Project construction began in November 2021, resulting in a modern, efficient plant specially designed to manufacture coatings (monolayers), leveling mixes, and other specialized construction products. Additionally, the first production line has a capacity of 370,000 tons per year, allowing it to meet market demand better.

The «Mezclas Listas Mixto Listo» brand consists of a family of products including specialized finishes, concretes, leveling mixes, and soil stabilizers. Through these Mixto Listo materials, it aims to be a strategic ally for its customers’ various construction solutions.
