The high incidence of these diseases reported by the Ministry of Public Health’s Health Management Information System highlights the critical need for more hygienic environments and to reduce exposure to factors that contribute to these conditions.

HogaRES aims to develop a sustainable model to eliminate dirt floors in Guatemala. The program will replace them with concrete floors, to help reduce the qualitative housing deficit and improve the quality of life of all Guatemalans.
