Donations are the cornerstone of the program “Juntos por tu Hogar”, offering Progreso employees the opportunity to fulfill the dream of owning a home or improving their current one to achieve a better quality of life.
Recently, Progreso’s CEO, José Raúl González, called on all employees to continue donating so that even more people can benefit. “A few days ago, we heard the story of Heidi, an employee who benefited from the Together for Your Home program. Just like Heidi, there are many colleagues whom we can continue to help today” he said.
González also highlighted that Progreso’s Code of Values, Ethics, and Conduct (COVEC) embodies the values of a family: solidarity, commitment, and empathy. “Recognizing the needs of our employees and colleagues is a responsibility that we at Progreso take on with pride”, he emphasized.
We Are Family
Helping from the heart is undoubtedly one of the most enriching experiences life teaches us. Juntos por tu Hogar is more than just building a house—it’s about improving the quality of life for colleagues and their families, so we can collectively build the country we all want to live in.
The resources and support for the program decreased significantly in 2020, a challenging year for humanity and for millions of people who suffered severe economic and social consequences. That is why supporting more employees in need remains a shared responsibility and commitment.
The program has achieved remarkable results, including 105 homes built, 36 basic services approved, 13 concrete floors installed, and 461 healthy homes completed, positively impacting a total of 615 families.
